Will NHS Help With College

PG certificate in medical education is one of the most popular courses that medical enthusiasts opt for before or during masters in medical education. Due to financial commitments, it can be strenuous to understand which course to opt for post-graduation. Therefore, medical students who find it difficult to afford a Master’s degree find PGCert apt.

The course lays the groundwork in crucial areas of medical education, such as evaluation methods, educational philosophy, and competency. Each module’s tasks let students critically learn from their experiences and interests.

The NHS supports students in pursuing their education in several ways. This article will make you aware of a few ways in which the NHS can help with a PG certificate in medical education.

PG Certificate In Medical Education

The PG certificate is for all healthcare professionals and doctors who wish to be a teacher. The course has considerable flexibility to accommodate the type of teaching you do in practice, so you don’t have to be active in formal qualifications to benefit from it. The only thing you must have is the desire to learn more.

If you decide to further your education and satisfy the prerequisites, the PG certificate in medical education can also be used to study toward a PGDip and a Master’s programme. It is worth 60 credits at the master’s level, and you can take additional modules to get a postgraduate diploma of 120 credits or a master’s degree of 180 credits.

The course contains four modules, each priced at £375 currently. If you routinely teach, it’s worth looking into any financing that might be provided by your employer. Some deaneries give bursaries for medical education certifications.
