Consultant Psychiatrist (CAMHS and Acute)

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in Essex for a high-profile CAMHS and Acute services.  This role offers a significant opportunity to work in clinical services, drive innovations and shape the future of mental health care in a dynamic environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will join a dedicated and compassionate specialist team focused on delivering exceptional care and improving patient well-being. Our approach is highly personalised, combining evidence-based therapies with genuine care to help individuals regain confidence and achieve lasting recovery. 

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a central role in each patient’s journey, leading on assessment, formulation and the delivery of tailored treatment plans, while supporting colleagues to ensure that every patient receives safe, dignified and effective care.

• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to other professionals. 
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and oversee patient management plans.
• Participate in strategic planning and the ongoing development of mental health services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS and Acute.
• CCT or equivalent in Psychiatry.
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
• Have an updated CV of your work experience and skills.
